In your Creator Portal, SparqFest will ask for a logo that will be marked optional. Though this logo is optional, it makes a huge visual impact when done right.

It's not that the second project looks bad, it's simply that the first project does a better job of standing out with the use of that logo.

Requirements

A good logo has a transparent background and has shading that will help it stand out on a variety of backgrounds. Ideally, it is “squarish” in shape, though we don't enforce any specific dimensions. If the logo is too wide or too tall, it may not look good on all web site designs.
