If your festival has an audience choice competition, you can participate by watching/listening to selections and going to the audience choice voting page and voting.
To be eligible to participate:
- You must have actually watched/listen to content
- You may place a vote only for a selection you have watched/listen to
In addition, some festivals place a “minimum viewing” requirement in order to vote. The audience choice voting page will explain any minimum viewing requirements.
To get credit for watching/listening to a selection:
- Online, watch/listen to 80% of the selection (skipping won't work)
- In-person, scan the QR code at the screening you attend
To access the audience choice voting page, you have two options:
- Most of the time, you will be sent to the audience choice voting after watching a screening
- You can access the page directly from the profile menu
The design of the audience choice pages vary from festival to festival. The general rule, however, is that you will see a list of the different audience choice categories along with another list of all the shows you have credit for watching/listening to.
You may either click on the award to place a vote for that award or you may drag your choice from the selection list to the award.
You may change your mind any number of times until the voting deadline. Once the deadline passes, your vote is final.
